Debt Limit

So tell me, why do we have to increase our debt limit?  Why do we need to raise taxes?  Gee- could it be that we spend too much?  I work in a government agency.  I can't help it but explain what that means. It is a welfare system that is positioned to make it look like people work. Nothing really gets done, just a lot of paper gets consumed. I've worked in many government agencies a contractor, and they are all the same.  It's disturbing.  Ax 3/4 of the government workforce and problem is solved.  In order, here is my plan:
1. Fire every single person in Dept of Energy.  Their mission is to lessen our dependancy on foreign oil.  Mission is a failure, fire them all!
2. Disban Department of Commerce.  We have all figured out how to transport things amongst ourselves.  Mission completed. Now disban and go to the next problem
3. Get rid of 7/8 of Dept of Education and give all moneys that would have been spent, to the localities to use to educate our kids.  Tell me one good reason to put the federal government as a middleman- they've hosed it up for the last 30 year and have proven beyond a reasonable doubt, they are a failure.
4. Defund EPA by 90%.  Leave it to the localities. If they want to have unsafe water, let them. People don't like it, they can leave.
5. Defund Dept of Ag by 90%. People in Washington know less about paper cuts than they do about how to improve farming.  Again- a useless department at the federal level.
6. Defund Health and Human Services. Let charities take over the role of caregiver. Reduce dependancy on the government for a handout.  People need a handout, they can get to church or go to a charity willing to give money to freeloaders.
7. Defund Dept of Treasury by 90%.  Delete entire tax code and impose a flat tax of 15% for federal tax. Everyone pays, no exceptions, no writeoffs, no ifs/ands/buts.  Corporate pays 20% of federal tax- period.  This should eliminate entire staff except the collectors.  Double their numbers and call it a day.  If you don't pay, you go to tax jail, which is a labor job of building roads and upkeep of our parks.
8. Disban Department of Interior- give it back to the rightful owner of the states.  Federal government has no business telling the states what to do in their borders.  They want to drill- go for it.  You don't like oil wells, move to another country where they don't use oil or natural gas.
9. Defund Labor department by 90%.  Again, they can't put people to work, their mission is a failure-fire 90% of them!
10. Council of Economic Advisors.  I say fire them.  They have done nothing except print money.  Another useless czar.

So, that my friend is my plan.  Get rid of the majority of the federal government, give the responsibility back to the states, and if they hose it up like California did, people can just move out if they don't like it.
